In John 15:19-25 Jesus says..
If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before [it hated] you.
If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you.
Remember the word that I said unto you, the servant is not greater than his lord. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you; if they have kept my saying, they will keep yours also.
But all these things will they do unto you for my name's sake, because they know not him that sent me.
If I had not come and spoken unto them, they had not had sin: but now they have no cloke for their sin.
He that hateth me hateth my Father also.
If I had not done among them the works which none other man did, they had not had sin: but now have they both seen and hated both me and my Father.
But [this cometh to pass], that the word might be fulfilled that is written in their law, They hated me without a cause.
Last week at the Emmy Awards, Kathy Griffin was given a award for her work on Bravo channel’s own show "My Life on the D-List." Holding up her statuette and with firm pride in her voice, she declared,
"A lot of people come up here and thank Jesus for this award. I want you to know that no one had less to do with this award than Jesus...Suck it, Jesus. This award is my god now."
Self-proclaimed comedian Kathy Griffin, which I have never found funny, who is also a self-proclaimed militant atheist, made these confrontational and offensive remarks about Jesus at the Creative Arts Emmy Awards. Her remarks have outraged and shocked some folks, because of the age in which we live preaches the message of tolerance. However, I say, it is this proclaimed tolerance that is the bogus drive of reason given by its promoters. They claim tolerance will lead to all of mankind coming together as one. However, in the end this idea becomes the laughing stock of reason.
After the event and backstage, Griffin said she hoped she had offended Christians with her remarks. This offense was her goal. Now you may know that E Network, the channel that carried the Emmy Awards cut Griffin from the aired tape. I would like to say I disagree with E’s move on this.
The news media often gets reprimanded for covering hate crimes. But it is this exposition of the hate that others need to see. This exposition in the end helps. There may be some that think Hollywood is not hostile toward lovers of God. These people need to know Hollywood for what it is. If we had kept quiet and not reported the events of those that were forced to move to the back of the bus, the world would never had believed this was being done.
E should have carried Griffin’s rant and revulsion of Jesus. I wanted the world to see her hold her award high above her head and cry out, “this is my god” as she shakes it in defiance to people of faith. We should not hide what Hollywood thinks of God, because just as Griffin proclaimed with glaring pride, many in the entertainment business feel that this is their god indeed. An atheist has its own faith in a no god system, which produces a world of self-glory and self-worship.
You can well remember how others cried for justice when racial slurs were made by another comedian. Justice was served as that person lost his job as he should have. I would have liked E to show this clip to prove tolerance-justice does not apply to the Christian faith as people at the Emmy Awards laughed and clapped in agreement with Griffin, and justice was not cried for by any that attended the event.
Let Griffin or any other Hollywood elitist say such things about Mohammad and snicker that it is only a joke. The Emmy folks would boo her off the stage. Why? Because this is not tolerated in Hollywood, but to bash Jesus is funny to them.
I want the news media to show the world that those who cry tolerance the most are the atheists. I want the world to also see that it is the atheist that backs Griffin’s intolerance. The fact is the tolerance cried for in the religious realm is only against the Christian faith.
Gay rights groups loved Griffin’s comments. However, gay right groups want to change the Christian faith so that it will tolerate their life style. They want people to tolerate their life style, and yet they have no problem with people saying “suck it Jesus”, for to them this is tolerated behavior.
I want the world to know that Griffin’s actions at the Emmy Awards are nothing new. If you would like to see more rantings by Griffin it can be found on UTube. Griffin finds ways to show her hate for God, by using her Catholic upbringing as a cover for hate. Do a search on UTube for “Griffin/no one swears more than Catholics” for a long display of outburst in slamming God, as people laugh and clap to encourage her on. For this she gets an award.
Whistleblower magazine just published a article entitled "The Rise Of Atheist America. In it you will read..
The signs are everywhere. Many of America's top-selling books right now are angry, in-your-face, atheist manifestos. …….."This is atheism's moment," brags David Steinberger, CEO of Perseus Books, celebrating the tremendous success of anti-God bestsellers like "God is Not Great: Why Religion Poisons Everything" by journalist Christopher Hitchens and "The God Delusion" by Oxford evolutionary biologist Richard Dawkins. "Mr. Hitchens has written the category killer," he says, "and we're excited about having the next book." That's right – this fall the publishing world will further cash in on the anti-God juggernaut with the release of "The Pocket Atheist," featuring the writings of famous atheists, edited by Hitchens.
Indeed, arrogant denial of God and condemnation of religious people characterize today's popular atheist books, which besides Hitchens' and Dawkins' bestsellers include "Letter to a Christian Nation" by Sam Harris, sequel to his earlier bestseller "The End of Faith," as well as "God: The Failed Hypothesis: How Science Shows That God Does Not Exist" by Victor J. Stenger, "Breaking the Spell: Religion as a Natural Phenomenon" by Daniel C. Dennett, "Atheist Universe: The Thinking Person's Answer to Christian Fundamentalism" by David Mills and others.
Here is quote I would like to focus on.
From Hitchens book and ' No. 1 New York Times bestseller, which has dominated the nonfiction charts for months, boldly condemns religion – including Christianity – as "violent, irrational, intolerant, bigotry, ……..
Intolerant? This shows Hitchens has not a clue about our history. Yes we were founded as a Christian nation. The school system was built on the Christian faith. Most universities started as a Christian institution. The likes of Harvard ,Yale and Princeton, all were founded on the Christian faith. Most God haters would be shocked to read Harvards first student handbook, where so much is given to uplift the name of God. Hospitals in this country were largely started by Christians.
It was the Pilgrims that came to this nation in order to worship freely. In England they were placed in jail, if they did not conform to the church of the state. It is this freedom that these Christian founders of our nation gave Griffin so that she could declare her hate on the airways. Now the atheists want to deny this freedom and have it only for themselves.
Intolerant? Atheists states have proven to be the most intolerant of all. This I included in a article back on July 10th called “The desire of all nations”. From that article you will read:
At least 180 million people have been killed by secular governments in the 20th Century, and that is a very conservative estimate. We are not here talking about people who have died in wars caused by secular humanist states, because that would massively increase the body count. The greatest threat to life in the 20th Century was not firearm accidents, or crime, or even wars! More people were killed by their own government in peace time than were killed by foreign invaders in war time.
Dr. David Barrett, editor of the massive “World Christian Encyclopedia,” and author of “Cosmos, Chaos and Gospel, and Our Globe and How To Reach It,” has documented that Soviet dictator Joseph Stalin was responsible for killing over 40 million people. Joseph Stalin closed down over 48 000 churches, and attempted the liquidation of the entire Christian Church.
Similarly, communist dictator of China, Mao Tse Tung launched the Great Proletariat Cultural Revolution, ”History’s most systematic attempt ever, by a single nation, to eradicate and destroy Christianity…” Mao was responsible for killing about 72 million people.
Intolerant? Bigotry? It is the Christian nation that tolerates. One cannot become a bigger bigot than an atheist, who believes that killing those that oppose them is the right answer. The world needs to know of this bigotry. The world needs to see the intolerant behavior of one of the atheistic elite.
If one is a worshipper of the earth, we must not say anything to offend. If one is a worshipper of God, all is fair on the hunting ground. If one cries racist, we must fire the offender on the spot. If the Christian God is attacked, people laugh and say get over it. If we slam a gay person we have committed a hate crime. If we slam Jesus we are given an award.
E should have played Griffin’s hate. This is what the world needs to see. This is what is meant when they say we must show tolerance. This is nothing but a sham used to replace a once God fearing nation, with a nation of God haters and haters of all that love God.
